Shave down - not AGAINST the natural hair growth. Use plenty shave cream and a sharp blade. Or better yet - trim with electric clippers..

Start by trimming the hair with scissors, if necessary, as close as you can. Then lather the area up good with shave cream; have a fresh, new razor; several towels; and keep a bowl of warm water handy to rinse the razor often. Shave applying moderate pressure and go against the grain. Some spots may require a second go over once you rinse the area well and examine the job you just did for her.

From what I know, if you shave you're going to get bumps no matter what...Not a lot but they'll still be there but not for long.

Use baby oil on her after you shave her.

Man !!!...... She is not telling you to shave because she does not know it .... she just wants you to do it because she likes it to be done by you .... simply ask her and follow what she says .... that will add to romance and sex urge ... it could be part of for-play before sex .....
