Neither good, nor bad. No one was whining when the tribes were separated by sex, age, etc.

Find something else more important to complain about.

I think it is horrible, and I will not watch it.

Sure, it's a game. Sure it's all about ratings, getting people talking, etc. It's been created from a MARKETING point of view, and already has lit a fire that is almost out of control.

That aside....my questions to the producers would be to THINK. Sure, big money, lots of exposure (Survivor has been decreasing in the ratings lately). But what will be the ripple effect of this? Doesn't it occur to anyone that the challenges/competitions/wins/losses will result in the same kind of "mob mentality" that happens with opposing sports teams? Soccer? Hockey?? Us against them? HATE HATE HATE! And I'm not talking about the players in Survivor....I'm talking about NORTH AMERICA.

You KNOW everyone will pick a side because that's what you do with Survivor. It's how the game is played. But that is going to happen in every city/town/community as well.......and no one is going to be awarded a million dollars here.

I predict that the already tense race issues will surge. How can it not?

I think it's an interesting experiment, but neither good nor bad. Perhaps it can help change some perspectives about race, which is still a touchy subject.

Might as well make the next one Survivor Auschwitz or Survivor Abu Gharib.

Bad. I never watch these so-called (orchestrated) reality shows, but we need to unite as a people, not make race relations worse.

I think it will be interesting, they aren't going to be separated to long the host said only in the beginning as the show goes on he said they will mix the groups up.

I think it's a great marketing ploy, it's certainly generated a lot of interest in the show, which is exactly what the producers were hoping to do!

Publicity! Publicity!

It's sad but true. They are using race as an issue to get more of you people to watch their show.
