Here is what GEORGIA says:
Georgia
Applicants must be eighteen 18 years of age or older to apply without parental consent.
* Applicants may be sixteen 16 or seventeen 17 and apply for a license with consent of the parents or guardians.
* Parents or guardians must sign for you if you are underage.
* The parents must accompany the minor applying for the marriage license and must have proper identification, such as a valid driver?s license.
* Guardians must present proper guardianship papers.
* Underage female applicants who are pregnant may apply without parental consent. A letter from a doctor must be presented at the time of the application. The doctor?s letter must state that the female is pregnant, how far along she is and her estimated due date. This letter must be on the doctor?s letterhead with his/her original signature, not a stamped signature.
* If underage applicants already have a child, they should present a certified copy of the birth certificate for the child at the time of application.
* If parental consent is not required, the court will notify parents or guardians that you have been issued a marriage license. There is an additional fee of $1.00 per letter.
* All applicants need to take a premarital blood test. The blood test results must be printed on the mandatory state form #3411. Blood tests results must be signed and dated by the physician and must be less than thirty (30) days old when you apply for the license.
HOWEVER... What YOU must do, is:
1.) INSIST SHE GETS A LAWYER!!!
2.) Consider taking her in. The Military will, more likely then not, request she leave the premises if she is living on the military base.
Above all else, she is an adult, having already taken on an adult role. You must NOT play the "I told you so" or "I never did like him" card(s). She will need your support.
Be there for her.

I would think she would be considered emancipated from her parents the day of her wedding. Just because her husband skipped down doesn't mean she's suddenly not capable of taking care of herself-or even that she's not married anymore, only because she's 17. If you're wondering if they'll take her and put her back with her family or try to bounce her around through foster care until her birthday, I doubt it.

You need to check the laws in your state. In most states marriage automatically makes a minor legally emancipated. You also need to check the marriage laws in your state. Is she legally allowed to enter into marriage, does she need your permission and signature, and did you give it? Marriage is the same as a contract and in most instances a minor cannot enter into a contract and be held legally liable. Marriage does differ in respect to the fact most states will allow a parent to sign for a minor to be married, depending on age and state laws.

Yes. Once a minor child marries, and the husband/ wife is of legal age, then the spouse becomes responsible. You're off the hook!

This link gives information about Massachusetts, but it might be helpful (don't know where she lives). Seems like she would be emancipated in order to be able to consent to certain medical treatments, but I'm not sure what the marriage would mean in terms of her relationship with you.
