It's a game show that has already divided teams by men & women, and old & young & men & women. It will be interesting (Already the people's own comments were interesting) It is an interesting experiment in several dimentions: Will the show be considered racist? Will they gain ratings or lose advertisers, or both? How will the tribes react? (So far the black tribe wants to represent itself well, the asian tribe made some jokes at their own expense and mentioned they were different from each other a lot, the hispanic & caucasian tribes didn't dwell on being divided by race so much. (The hispanic tribe did say they were well suited to the tropical climate) I would have watched this show without the race division and will not boycott it. I don't see anything hateful about it nor any conspiracy to make one race win or lose.

It's controversial. I think it's a highly risky dangerous concept. I think it's a bad move to get good ratings. Jeff Probst said in the View yesterday they've gotten a slate of sponsors and GM pulled out before the next concept of Survivor started. We'll just see how well the ratings were tonight. (To those who play Gold Rush online, watch it for the next clue of challenge #10.)

Pure blatant racism! The fabric of our great country is made up of these very 'races' that come here for a better life. Now CBS wants to exploit them. 'Survivor' will never be shown on any TV's in my house, that's for sure.

Well i don;t know how it's gonna play out since i don't watch survivor. But it may help increase the ratings of the show.

I think it's ok. Of course, I'm white and don't have a chip on my shoulder about race. Obviously, Burnett is looking to start controversy to get viewers for his dying show.

I think it is a bad idea. We have worked so hard to make everyone one group. I think it will further divide the gap

think it is a bit silly but it is all about ratings so it seems to be working. did you see on the mind of mancina show his comments re this subject................OMG it was so funny, he said the Mexicans would have swum off the island by the next morning..............he then went on to say that they would be like where is everyone, i truly loved his take on the subject, maybe not PQ but sure was funny.

its either good or bad.....each seek their on kind...for example even sub races seek their on kind...the blackbird doesn't hang around with the red wing black bird..but its called America wherein we mostly get along until a big crisis happens...then seek your on kind...it a natural thing to do...
