They force many normal people to have unrealistic self-images, and they encourage lower-level thinking: average people talk about people, intelligent people talk about ideals.

I agree w/ Keke. They set trends in image based on an unrealistic income. THe stuff they do to themselves is not only too expensive for the average American, but unhealthy as well.
