Apart from that, all men sacrifice something, everyday.

Discipline comes from within.
Willpower, nerve & concentration.
In that order.

He leaves his wife or books it to rehab. No, traditionally he goes on a journey. Siddhartha, Jesus, and all those folks went on a journey to "find themselves" or whatever. You wanna turn over a new leaf, plan a trip.
