Depending on whom you talk to, some would say ALL of Africa is Third World.
Some would say Second World countries are Libya, South Africa and Algeria

I think America classifies any country that not a world threat as 3rd world. Africa is mostly 3rd world but due to tourism and foreign aid many of the countries are up and coming. I would love to visit Nigeria.

botswana is the most stable african country and i think it is the richest too due to a small population, exclusive tourism (the okovango) and diamonds which were discovered after the british gave them independence.
