I dont see why they would hate each other, but if you ever do see an african american and a african, go up to them and ask them.

I don't hate Africans, but I did run into one African lady who was very rude to me only because I was African American she seemed to have alot of hatred for american blacks.

I've heard there may be some truth to that. Because we have been Americanized somehow and didn't stay true to our culture. But what can you do about it?
I had a friend who went to Africa last year and she went with Caucasians. She said that they would not give her the time of day! They knew that the Caucasians had money- it was said. She happened to be an RN. And the people she was with were on a mission ministry trip. Talk about looks being deceiving!

African-Americans don't hate Africans. An African guy I knew said that they hated us because we weren't "pure". I guess all that's stuff that is in us. White,Indian, Mexican etc. Everyone hates Americans for some reason or other. Probably because WE RULE!!!

i've heard some africans say that Black Americans ( i don't believe or say the term African American unless there are actually from africa) embarass them

I dont think there is hate but there is this definate "we are the real africans" feeling.
But both do work together.

I know Jamaicans dont like african americans! one told me they dont TRUST black americans. I wonder why?

i have met several blacks who come directly FROM africa. and it is funny listening to them talk about why they hate black people. they are talking about the americans. they ask me why they are so lazy and stupid . when they have comeover here to work and get ahead. go figure. they talk to me abotu how they have to do all those americanized blacks work while they sit on their asses.
