Go to bed happy! With no worries you'll sleep fine.
Reading a book helps as well.

Listen, I think I've got it as well.A few years ago, I had no trouble falling asleep even when I had dinner late at night or even when I used to drink tea.The problem lies in your mind.Something's worrying you but you might not know it or perhaps you are in denial. But something's worrying you.Deal with it.Or if you can't deal with it now, banish any negative or upsetting thoughts from your mind and try to keep a positive outlook on life and what's going on around you.Bear in mind:your mental health is far more important than ANYTHING else.If you have peace of mind, you can face practically everything. If YOU lose that, then everything will just swallow you in the end.

Take care

Is this a regular thing or has it just started happening recently? if it's only recent it could be something in your life that is upsetting you or worrying you. There is no "cure" for it then sorting out your issues. Try not eating anything after 6 in the evening. and cut right back on caffeine intake. Even if you don't drink tea or coffee remember there is caffeine in coke, chocolate and many other foods. Heating milk releases a chemical that relaxes you naturally. Or a little bit of rescue remedy you can get that in good health food shops, a couple of dropes under your tongue before bed.

One freckly banana can help you drop off to sleep at the start of the evening. Count back 9 hours from the time you plan to wake up (or 6 hours at a pinch) and have that as your going to sleep time.

Make yourself some rosemary tea - a few leaves of rosemary in a cup of cold water, heated until it just starts to boil - no more: it should look and smell like plain water. Make sure the house is secure, and off to bed with you. Don't sip it until you are in bed and your head is ready to hit the pillow. All sorts of caveats, look them up yourself, and don't take it more than 2 nights in a row.

Dormez bien!

bananas are hard to digest, i have heard that if you eat a lettuce sandwich before you go to bed it has a calming effect, try and relax before you go to bed have a soothing bath and maybe a hot milk drink
