Why is it ? Just when I'm about to leave work early everything happens that shouldn't and you get out at your normal time?
Just when you get your car paid for it takes a crap?
Make plans for a vacation and it rains the whole time?

Why is it, a man can be working on a greasy car engine, wipe his hands (somewhat) on his shirt, and then eat a sandwich, but he can't take the gunk out of the bottom of the kitchen sink because it's "too gross"??
