There are other civilizations out there somewhere... It is unlikly, in this mortal world, that we will ever meet them face-to-face...if they have faces that is.
If an alien craft landed on earth there would be quite a bit of upset... The visitors should be delt with with caution... But it is likely that if they expended the energy, which would be extream, to get hear, that they would be in search of peacful contact... war on a inter stellar level would be prohibitively expencive in energy cost.
I would ask them for a ride

i think there are just there too far away for us to see or have contact with. the universe is pretty damn big and why are we the only ones in it? i think we would just try and kill them b/c they are different ... it would be no different than the way we are now toward blacks, chinese or anyone different than ourselves as racism is improving but will never imo all get along. also are they friendly or trying to exterminate us? can we understand them or are they just annoying lol. hard to answer really ...
