I think nature is everything including modern technology. "Technology is considered as belonging to the very nature of what is human; it provides the indispensable means for subsistence. The underlying idea is, that as part of nature, as living beings, humans must—just like the other animals—find a way to cope with a hostile environment and to provide for basic needs such as food and shelter." I like light-hearted answers...

Nature is the place where we can enjoy all of what God has given us to enjoy, the good and the bad (according to perspective) What someone sees as ugly could be beautiful to others.
