All according to the seriousness of the crime. If he was smuggling drugs from jamaica, It wont fly. If it was not a felony charge, He would have to have written permission from his probation officer to leave the state where he is serving his probation. A felony charge, on probation would make it hard to obtain a passport. This would have to be approved by a Judge. You may have to plan the honeymoon in the states. It would save everyone from going through alot of red tape. Good luck.

It would be stated on his documents. If it doesn't, he's free to go. Also, it would have been stated in court. Was he that much out of it? Usually, the only restriction is in terms of regular meetings with a probation officer. He will need prior approval to skip a meeting. Why are they asking YOU to find out? You plan prison breaks, too?
Pay no attention to those below me. They haven't a clue what they're talking about. Maybe they're confusing parole with probation. Who are you going to believe--them or a career criminal?
By the way, does the bride know about his rap sheet? Give me their names so I can blackmail him. He might want to invite me for a nice vacation in Jamaica.

It depends on what he did? And if he has had any violations on his probation? And what type of probation it is?
