I have the same problem and it seems to get worse as I get older, especially when I lack of sleep. Some researches say it comes in the gene. I have tried many different creams, including Hylexin. None really work. I had consulted a laser doctor, and will have laser treatment in the near future. The laser treatment is not bad at all. I had laser treatments on my birthmarks (on my forehead and eyelid) before. Just mild burning sensation, but the result is great. For covering up, I like True Match (W4-5) best.
Good luck!

Hi Sue, I have been using a corrective eye cream from a company called Arbonne for the past 4 months. Within about 10 days my dark circles were gone! I use their whole NutriMinC RE9 Anti-Aging line and people have started asking me what I have been doing. I love the whole line, but I know a couple of women that have just used the corrective eye cream and are very happy. You can check it out in their online catalog at http://www.wonderful.myarbonne.com

Physicians Formula brand make-up.
They have concealer specifically designed for your problem.
There are two colors in one container, you apply the yellow first, and then the skin tone.
They sell that brand everywhere, including Wal-mart.
Good luck
