Depends on the store/photographer. Sometimes they are good, sometimes horrible. They just can't keep their quality and service consistent.

We have had a few problems (service mostly), but overall they have been pretty good over the 2 1/2 years we have been bringing our daughter there. The thing I like the best is that they have your pictures ready in an hour (unlike Sears, which I heard is like 3 weeks) - which is great for when Mommy or Daddy forgets to schedule ahead of time! The coupons are really good - I usually have one or two "free" 8 x 10 coupons in my purse, and now that they don't charge a sitting fee, it's great! Unless we love more than one picture, we usually get the free one, scan it in to the computer at home and make prints from there. If we really like the second picture, it's worth the $18.

I was extremely pleased with the services. I had my 5 month old daughter photographed about 2 weeks ago, and I loved it. The pictures are beautiful, and she wasn't scared or upset. The people working there were friendly and allowed participation from me and my husband. The prices were also fairly reasonable for what we got.

Yeah, they do a good job, depending on the experience of the photographer and the age of the child. I would say don't waste your money if your child is between a year and 18 months. They are really good with babies, adn really good with toddlers, but that age is just difficult!

If you get on their email list, they send pretty good coupons out at time. Or you can google Picture People Coupons and see what you can find online.

Sometimes they do really cute pictures and other times they're horrible. They are way to expensive for horrible ones!!!
I have come to love Olan Mills, they are pretty cheap and our pics have always been beautiful!

Quick but expensive. Better off going to a walmart, jcpenney type of place for the cheaper packages.

I loved them when they first opened... but now they are crap in my eyes.. The more the company grew, the more rushed we were every time we went in.. their demand to hire photographers grew.. so they started hiring people with NO experience.. and the quality of the picture were were getting went to crap..
