That's about how long my ex-husband's "front" lasted. Then the monster came out.

We married a few months before we'd been together 2 years. Of course he was different! But I'm sure I was too. Sharing the same space with another person is always a learning experience. It took us both several years to adjust and work out kinks. Then once disciplining children came into the picture, we both had to make even more adjustments. But such is marriage. We've been together over 10 years now. And so far neither of us has left or killed the other one. For us, that is pretty good!

I have been married since April. We fight a lot. I only knew her for like 10 months before we got married.... I really honestly don't think I've changed, but she swears up and down that I have. A key point to our marriage is that when I met her and before we got married, I had a lot of money saved up.... Now its all gone and we have a lot of debt. So I personally think that is the reason why I have changed a little bit.... But then again we have seen a marriage counselor and she told us "People don't change. We are who we are. We are the same person we were before marriage and after marriage. Situations might change but we as people don't change."

Did my spouse change?? Hell ya, it was the worst year of my life!!
Been divorced for a 3 years it's the best thing I've could have done! Found a great girl we've been together for a year.
I'm not jaded, I like being in a relationhsip with someone, but that girl had some pretty big issues!

They don't change, you just get to know each other better. And maybe the other person and you are more relaxed with each other so you put your front away and out comes the real person. This is why it is a good idea to really spend some time with someone before marriage. Date for a few years . 3 minimum

My spouse changed back into being a little kid again about a year and half or so after I moved in with her mother so we could afford for my wife to be a stay at home mom with my kids. Now her mother and her are raising my kids and I live alone.

I can vouch to that two year mark! After being married two years, my husband finally came clean about cheating on me three months after being married

I think everyone goes thru that.. Dating someone is fine but you get your space,, just when your married and together 24-7 you think oh my gosh they have changed.

I was with mine for four years before we got married, then we did marry everything changed...she started arguments for no such reason and even had the balls to try and kick me out of my own house . ( I bought it before I had met her ).
