No, because of the high cost of the fine silk, which then needs to be inlaid with the mystical gold pattern only known by Alladin and the Princess . . .not to mention the skyrocketing cost of shipping to get them to the states, which is the ony country which would spend the 9,000.00 for a decent flying carpet - I heard they are up to around 20k now for one with 24 inch chrome tassells - anyway - my answer is no, I looked into it.

It depends on how you plan to fuel these carpets and where you're going to get the carpets that will be used for flying. Will you be installing seatbelts and child safety seats? Is there going to be a restriction on how high you can fly your carpet? Or are you going to make it a totally underground movement away from cars to carpets.
If I put a dog in a flying car, would that make him a flying carpet?

ummm I think the latest models run on ethanol.... I'd wait until the hybrids come out. Then invest in those companies...
