All of the restaurants mentioned are just average. St. Louis is known for their Italian food. Tony's is expensive, but it has been one of the only 5 diamond Italian restaurants in the United States for Decades. If you want cheaper options let me know.

I live in Lake St. Louis and we have Ruggari's in Wentzville. Instead of driving this far out, try any of the restaurants on The Hill.

Ya Ya's Euro Cafe. An ex of mine (when we were still together) & a friend of his took me & the guy's gf there for Valentine's Day last year. It's NICE! Another one to try: The Melting Pot. My sister's bf has taken her there before on a date for her birthday & she said that it was reaaaalllly good.
