Well, to be the best band EVER, I won't even consider any band that has come out in the last 5-10 years, they have nowhere near the history to be the best band ever, and are only successors of what the true rock bands did years before. My vote goes to either Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, or AC/DC. All three are such great bands, with so many EXCELLENT albums/songs that I can't make up my mind.

I started listening to Nirvana about 13 years and they became my favourite band instantly. Well, it's been 13 years and I still haven't found any one to replace my favourite band. I have come across many bands I enjoy. For example System of a Down, Manson, The Killers and many more. But I always fall back to Nirvana I have never gotten sick of them.
