Well first off we dont even know if you have the chance to play ball for UV. You only mentioned the basketball with the D2 school. Now if you have the ability to play ball at UV i would say go to the D2 school cause unless you are super good and they over looked you when they were handing out basketball scholarships you probably wont get any love or PT(playing time) at UV. They will most likely be focused on there scholarship players. Going to the D2 school would give you the chance to showcase ur talent and then later on down the road you can work on getting that scholarship to UV. Use the D2 school to get ur education and advance on ur basketball skills.

If it were me I would go with the scholarship because if I didn't I wouldn't be able to afford to go to college. Also if you couldn't play ball at UV, I don't think you would be happy. You'll have a great time at either college. Sometimes it is better to go away from home to school. You learn a lot about life when you are on you own. Good luck in your basketball career.

Full ride is a great way to stay out of debt and with all the college expenses. I would go with the scholarship. If you dont like it you could always transfer back. But all in all you HAVE to love the school you go to, makes the experience so much better.

I'd choose the scholarship. I'm going to be in debt the rest of my life because of school and I've realized how important scholarships are going to be.
Plus, I have decided the smaller the school, the more comfortable I will be. That's why I'm transferring.

I'd definitely choose the D2 school go where the money is. The most important thing is getting a good education. Trust me you don't want to get stuck paying students loans forever like me. JMHO

Be realistic about your talent. If it's good enough and your willing to work your hinney off - go for it. But I wouldn't want that debt either.
