If someone writes you on MySpace asking you if you wanted to f u c k sometime and your 16 years of age or older, is this grounds for sexual harassment? Is there any way I could have them put in jail? Could I sue them?

Ummm yes, on the sexual harrasment. However MySpace is an open forum type of design, it's peoples free speech, it would be a hard and long road to attempt any legal action against the person.

You should contact Myspace to see what their procedure is for this type of behavior. I don't think you can put someone in jail asking you to F***. But you could block them from your profile and I would most defintely contact Myspace ~ look under Tom's profile and he has everything you need to know listed, there should be a link to direct you to right people.

It all depends. First, since you are not considered an adult, YOU cannot sue anybody for anything. Secondly, if you are offended by this person, report him/her to the people at My Space. AND, then see if there are built in safeguards where you can block this individual from coming on to your site. Good luck. He sounds like a jerk!!

Did you keep the email? I hope so. Email it to yourself at another email address so that it won't get deleted. Call the cops and ask them if there's something you can do about it. Did the person know you were under 18?
