She makes movies, but she has said also that she wanted to be one of the best out there. Meaning she wants to win Oscars and other prestigious awards. Do you think she can do it what with all the mediocre movies that she's making?

No, she is not a great movie star she is just mediocre. Angelina Jolie is a much better actress than she is. Sorry but it's true.

1. Good scripts with 3-D characters.
2. Top of the pick directors.
3. Huge budget to do the movie right.
4. Experienced crew, and that includes casting director, who finds the right chemistry between actors for the movie.
5. PR — timing for release.
6. Most important — she's equal to the character. I truly believe that if you want to survive, you have to be diverse in your roles. Barbara Stanwyck is an excellent example, or Bette Davis & Madonna for music.
7. You forget you are watching Jennifer Aniston while you watch the movie. Her fame doesn't get in the way of the character and performance.

Jennifer Aniston is not an actress, but a movie star, there is a difference. She CAN'T act. She is a terrible actress, even in friends it wasn't her that made the show so I don't know why she ended up with movies. I also hear that she isn't very easy to work with either. I don't think I've seen even one of her movies that I even like, but am hoping this new one with Vince Vaughn is an improvement, but it won't be she contributing to its success. She needs to find a new line of work.

She's pretty much the same character in everything she does (except Derailed) so, you're right. She needs to branch out and play different roles. I really believe that's why Denzel didn't' get his Oscar until Training Day, because he never before played a guy that you didn't root for.

Few TV stars have been able to translate the small screen success to the big screen...not everybody is a Robin Williams or a Sally Field...and besides a succesful TV Character that has lived with you for ten years is difficult to erase from you mind

I dont no really. She is a good acter but i dont know if shes ' that good ' and also she has been pretty upset about Brad, i know that was ages ago but id say she is still jealous i mean Brad and Angelena are thinking of getting marrried and thay already have children. And know shes with yamano ( i forget his name ) and they are getting married so if your right and she does want to get oscars i dont think it will be for a while.

While she has been doing some blah movies as of late, I think she is a great actress. Obviously directors see this in her, hence hiring her. I think she has potential to stand the test of time and probably, in her old age, receive the recognition she seems to feel she deserves.

Not in this lifetime. She lucked up with Friends. No body care to see a movie with Anniston. She can't carry a picture on her name alone. And most of all she is a limited actress. I don't dislike her. Just the truth.

i love jennifer aniston she is a sweet and beautiful woman. I like her acting but i wish she would play it up a little more because its seems like she has the same role in every movie.

shes seems like a good person and i think she will get an oscar if she really tries and really wants too. good things come to good people. she was great in Friends so if she gets the right leading role it just might happen
