2 or 3 times a day it just quits responding and closes out of the internet. I've done virus scan and everything on it and the only thing that has helped so far is to restart the computer. Any ideas how to fix this problem?

Try these steps:
1) Make sure Windows is updated http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com
2) Run an Adware/Spyware scan with either Spybot Search and Destroy or http://housecall.trendmicro.com
3) Defrag your hard-drive
4) If none of these helps then your best option woulbe to reformat the computer.

restart in saef mode then do a virus scan

go into control panel....click on internet options ..on the box delete cookies,temp files,,clear history...Then go to start>programs>accessories>system tools>here click on disk cleanup program follow onscreen instructions

Get it checked by a professional, my guess is you dont have enough memory and are running memory intensive programs.
