in about a year or two, yes. i just saw a preview of their UI, and it's just about cool, way better than ipod's. the UI is just something that catches me on right away. also you can share with your friends and buy tunes anywhere, via Wi-Fi. if people invest in zune, then the player design will probaly get better, and have probaly just as much sucess, as the ipods are.

Probably wont come out with strong sales but probably in a year or two it will at least take 10 percent of the digital music player market. The UI is awesome , much better than the ipod's, i like that the album art will be enormous, cuz the ipod's is tiny. Th wi-fi feauture is a nice addition, and probably it will be very useful for adding songs from computers and sharing with other zunes. What sucks is that the HD is only 30 gb, compared to the 80gb of the new ipod it is nothing, but i guees the wi-fi, 3 inch screen, UI, and integrated FM tuner will make it a strong competitor to the Ipod. But i wonder what the Zune marketplace (where you will buy songs and such) will be like and if it will beat Itunes's 3 million+ catalog of songs.

I can't wait to learn more about it. There are so many missing elements to the IPOD, that MS should have incorporated those items in ZUNE.
