iPod is an MP3 player distributed by Apple, they range in price, size and come with a Hard Drive to store the music on. Unlike the 'cheaper' 'Flash' based MP3 player - when you drop it on the floor, it could damage the iPod's harddrive.

You can rip your own CD's and store the music on the MP3 player, you can purchase and download MP3's - etc.

Flash MP3 players also make excellent jump drives for storing documents easily between computers.

An Ipod is just a name brand for an MP3. There are different brands of them. Like I have a samsung mp3 player. You can download any kind of music as long as it is in mp3 file. then depending on which player you have will determine whether you need itunes or just windows media player.

An iPod is a type of mp3 player, which plays music you either rip from a CD or download from the internet. It's like a portable CD player, except you have more songs and it's smaller and lighter.

An Ipod is a mp3 player. They store and play music that you put onto them. You can put the music from CD's that you already own onto the player or you can buy songs or albums online.
