Some people simply do not have the skills to pass a job interview and/or to get a job...they should not have to be harrassed. Honestly, some people can't learn the skills needed either.

Although people do sometimes jump to the wrong conclusions about people who are jobless, your particular query is completely ridiculous. First, this is the 21st century, where you can learn just about anything by going to the Internet. As a matter of fact, you could use this particular forum to ask people who do have jobs how they acquired the skills necessary to pass the interview. Second, when did speaking clearly, being honest, dressing appropriately, and being able to answer basic questions about a job and your background become inadequate? And also, how well of an interview do you have to give to flip burgers or bag groceries? If not having the skills to pass a job interview is the only thing stopping you, then you are a LOSER!

Insecurities often manifest themselves in strange ways. Any American who would call someone a "loser" simply because they do not have a job is so obviously inundated with insecurities that they must find fault in others in order to bolster themselves. As in..."at least I've got a job, I'm not like that loser..."

These people think so little of themselves that their opinion should be weighed and therefore taken with equal weight. What they think or what they say is as inconsequential as their contribution to society.

Because money matters. It's the thing this day and age to be rich. The whole Glamor thing from the Marlyn Menroe generation.
The sad part it Oprah was right. It's too hard to be rich today. American's should be happy with what they get.

America gives people alot of opportunities to succeed but unfortunately some people just do not want to for reasons such as low self esteem, trauma, or just plain lazyness. Americans get mad at the lazy ones because guess who now has to support them?

Baloney, they can flip burgers, cut grass, wash dishes, etc.

Because we all pay taxes and we don't appreciate having to support an able bodied person.
