Or inject the person, etc?
I could...I would love to see the look on the criminals eyes. All the wrong that they've done has finally caught up with them and you get to be there.

I would take that as my daily job if I needed to. It is truly a service to society, to get rid of the evil that commits the kind of crimes that result in the death penalty.

Yes. I believe in the death penalty, and I could not believe in something if I wouldn't be willing to act it out, that would be hypocritical.
I think I would hate to do it, at least at first, but I reckon I still could.

I think in the long run it saves lives. A study of England before the penalty was abolished estimated from extrapolated data that for every hanging seven murders were deterred. True to form, ever since it was abolished the murder rate has been steadily rising, from a period of decline before hand. I doubt it's a coincidence either, as it started to rise again pretty much the year it was abolished.

Recently a fugitive was apprehended in my local area who was wanted in connection with escape from the jail, attempted murder of 2 NYS Troopers and the murder of 1 NYS Trooper. All for absolutely no reason. I was shocked to learn that this criminal is NOT eligible for the death penalty. You have got to be kidding me. He took someones life, and left a 28 yr. old widow and a 1 yr old son. He should get the death penalty and I would like nothing more than to be the one to flip that switch!

I would have no problem with it at all. You do not get the death penalty for shop lifting, only murder and only 1st degree. I would like to see the death penalty used for repeat child molesters, let the victim's families flip the switch.

Killing is really not that big a deal. If you have hunted with a Gun or Bow and Killed game. Or gone Fishing and cleaned the fish afterwards your killing an animal-fish. Myself I have no desire to go out looking for a human to kill but in the question you have stated if it was my job I would not like, it but would have no trouble "flipping the Switch"

Yes.

There aught to be a lottery for the privilege of doing the deed. Some people would pay big bucks for the chance. State could make a fortune.

I would be able to as long as I have reviewed the case and made sure the person I am terminating is really guilty.

And when you flip the switch, 99% of the time they are wearing an eyeless hood, so you wouldn't be able to see their eyes. (it's actually their, the prisoners, choice to wear the hood or not.)

I think they should be put on tv so people can see it for what it really is, the taking of a human life.
Also have a channel with live feeds of what is going on in the white house. No more of this secret stuff happening without the knowledge of the public or congress.

Yes.

I strongly believe if there is irrefutable evidence and several witness' of you committing a murder in cold blood, you should die.

p.s. we don't flip switches, we use lethal injection, kind of like putting a dog down.....
