Congratulations! You just asked the deepest psychological question there is. Unfortunately, for something this deep, there won't be any answers that are both brief and complete.
You would have to start with defining reality and existence. Each one of those could- and have- fill the pages of a book on its own.
The best approach I've found for my own questions is to sort realities and existences into three categories that may or may not overlap each other. Let me make an example and then you'll know what I mean.
My three categories are physical, mental and spiritual existence.
If you take anything as an example (I'll use music for mine) and ask yourself how the thing in question exists on each of these planes, it gets a little easier to sort out what is real and what isn't. As a physical thing, music exists through the physical action of musicians performing, it's potential is contained in the instruments, it exists as a vibration in the air, can be stored on various digital or analog media and so on. The mental parts of music are in understanding and communicating musical ideas, in the intervals of rhythm and tone, in the mathematic structure of it. But the real crux of "what music is" is in it's ability to carry emotional and spiritual ideas from a musician to a listener. Music is therefore very real to me because it has important features in all three of the planes of existence that I consider to be reality.
Some people like to tell me about spiritual ideas that I can't find on any plane of existence other than that person's subjective spiritual plane and those ideas can seem unreal to me.
To balance that, I know that some physical objects exist that I am unaware of and that these things are also unreal to me simply because I don't know about them. An example would be a deep-sea creature that hasn't been cataloged by any biologist.
So, yes. Other realities do exist and maybe some of them are being blocked from our consciousness by our own disbelief, but on the other hand, not everything that everyone believes has any basis in reality, at least not in any interpersonal sense.
Welcome to life. Look closely and make the best choices you can. The realities in your dreams are made from mental and emotional objects that are in your subconscious mind.
Where very little real science dares to tread.

Reality is in the eye of the beholder.
Maybe you are perplexed by all this talk about how there could be all these other dimensions and parallel universes out there beyond the one that we experience as reality, and the idea both frightens and fascinates you. Proof either way doesn't exist, yet, but they're working on it. You have a beautiful mind, keep it open! Maybe you could become a physicist and help find the answers. These dreams are a good thing, don't freak out.

Mathematics has proved the existence of something like 13 dimensions and string theory shows there are many more that we co-exist with, so it's not just science fiction, it's well known. As for dreams, that's another matter. I believe dreams can access other realities, but of course there's no scientific basis for that.

My Definition of Reality is this:
That which has always been and will last forever, all else is temporary or an illusion.
This thinking will make you see the world much differently. That Car you drive, will be gone someday, that body you walk in will be dust and worm food.
Yet according to God, He knew you before the beginning of time so your older than you think, and don't think your dirtnap is the end cause it's only the beginning.....

Going via what the bible says, once you die you're asleep and be attentive to no longer something. Your soul is going back to the Almighty Yehowah and whilst the resurrection comes, which some human beings think of is coming quickly, your physique will upward push and connect up in Heaven for people who have confidence in Yehowah and on his son Yehowshuwa. they might have eternal existence. people who do no longer have confidence would be not extra and could go through a 2nd dying. people who're nevertheless alive at that factor gets replaced in a little while and be caught up in heaven additionally for people who have confidence in Almighty Yehowah. right here links are sturdy articles to appreciate extra with reference to the bible and not fake doctrines.

yes, there are realities to some people that seems not real to other people. It depends on how the mind works, the more restless our mind is, the more it is not aware of realities. The more it is silent the more it is aware. I don't know how science can uncover the true subtleties of the mind.

I don't really think we can prove something like that just yet. It would be totally cool though if we could. Traveling to other dimensions would rock! I envy you for being able to in your dreams!
