I was watching today on CSPAN that Condaleezaa Rice met with the deputy foriengn minister of Israel. They talked about the whole Iranian Nuculear suspension thing. Now they had said that The Iranian government had cancelled meetings with our government about the suspension of nuclear weapons. Now I was watching CNN headline news and it was showing that Iran's president was in Cuba. Now doesn't the Cuban government disagree with how our government runs things? and doesn't that seem bad for us if he is meeting with their government and not ours? Now bare with me because I am just starting to get familiar with all this political stuff but I really truly want to learn. Any help?

It does seem bad on the surface, but you also have to think about the so called nuclear program in Iran. They do not and will not have the ability to launch any nuke warheads for a long time if at all. And that is contingent on them even being able to enrich enough uranium.
Now, the US is full aware of all happenings in Cuba, and if by the off chance Iran or anyone was able to place any weapons at Cuba, we'd know before they do......

Although it may look bad it is not bad.
What power does Cuba have? No power.
Is Cuba a real threat to the US? No
What can Iran and Cuba do together? Nothing serious
The only thing Cuba can do is vote for Iran in the UN general assembly. But Cuba has been doing it for a long time. And will keep doing it until Iran and the US are on different sides of the bad/good guys fence!

There're a lot of governments that don't agree with the US government's policies. Even the Americans don't agree with what their government does. So, if Iran's president visits another country, would it mean he's doing some kind of conspiracy against the US? Nope, not at all. The big powers should first get rid of their nuclear capabilities and then Iran and other third world countries will do the same. Isn't that fair? If nobody has nuclear weapons, wouldn't the world be a peaceful place? I welcome you to the world of lies and crimes... the POLITICS!!!

Iran and Cuba have both been shafted repeatedly by the states so of course they are meeting and this is very good for the Iranian presidents image with intelligent people.
