I live in Florida, and this season has just heated up! We have Hurricane Gordon that won't be a threat and now the new one T.S. Helene, but shes so far out, who knows what she'll do. The season isn't over until November 1st, so we still have a while to go. It's still very possible another hurricane will hit Florida. I only pray its not a major storm.

Just when you think its safe to go back in the water. BOOM! You'll be wishing there weren't any hurricanes. I remember when El-nina and El-nino were hanging around a few years back and we had several hurricanes then, some pretty nice size ones hit the Houston/Galveston area and several in the Florida panhandle area. You notice the last two fairly decent size storms averted to the east, but don't worry, there will be more to come, hurrican season is here for another couple months and the seas are just getting started. So sit back, have a cold one and watch the waves come rolling in. It won't be long.

No, it'll never happen. Such a rare thing. I would take my cat and move to the desert.
