Today at lunch.. I work the desk in hotel..... the maintenance guy went to a popular fast food place and brought back lunch for some of the house keepers... they gave him their orders right in front of me and no one bothered to ask me what i wanted... probably not a huge deal but i am stuck at this desk for 8 hours i don't get to clock out i have to answer the phone if it rings i am the only clerk here and someone has to be behind this desk at all times so i can't go get my own food the house keepers clock out and leave and come back all the time.... i though he liked too(as a friend) ouch

thanksgiving 4 years ago my mom threw a big dinner, but told me she wasn't celebrating, I had to stop by her house to use the bathroom on the way somewhere else(I was 8 1/2 months pregnant) and there was a lot of friends and family & her new boyfriend,I left crying and cried for about an hour later when I found out she didn't invite me cause she had told her new guy she was younger than what she was and changed my bro & sis age and left me out so he wouldn't think she was too old and had too many kids,I was 25 then and I still get all teary eyed when I think about it.

I've never been in the circle,
i feel my way around the edges
nonchalantly always feeling like
a projectile, like muck being tossed
outward. So i crawl, singing my dirge,
my anthem exposing my antagonism
to what is in the circle of social blindness,
and like an overcoat i disrobe culture
& exceptance and let being left out
my inward embrace of myself..

I feel left out at work, all the ladies I work with are over 50. If Jimbo worked with me, we could stand around and eat donuts together.
