I'm sorry to disagree, but the whole of Europe does it, for starters, and lots of other countries, in the Northern and Southern hemispheres. Check out:

I suppose the extra daylight is better in the evening than the early morning, if we have to have so much of it.
Why not change by 2 or 3 hours? A change of more than one hour gets more difficult to adapt to, like jet lag.

Because of the agriculture. The Daylight Savings Time is because farmers need to get up at sunrise, and the sun goes up and down at different times through the year.

It is a thing called British summer time it means in Britain we get 1 extra hour of extra light in winter because the clocks are moved back 1 hour for winter.

In most countries that use this system, it is based primarily on savings. This is the case here in Brazil. If it's still sunny when you get home, you don't have to turn on the light. It sounds silly, but it does save energy!

We have daylight savings time here in the U.S. too. I think it depends on how far away from the equator you are. There is no need for countries that are close to the equator to have daylight savings time.

its day light saving ...and people have been trying to get it stop here for a while as more kids get killed going and return from school during the winter
