you could be testing too early I would wait until you are at least a week if not two weeks late and test again. If still negative and no signs of your period it could be the birth control or something else causing it.

Call you Dr. and ask to come in and do I think it is called a blood Serum This can detect what the urine test doesn't and earlier!
If you do decide to take the depo shot read some info about it first, it is easier considering it is a shot every three months but it can also make you gain weight!!
Thanks and have a great day!

Well, the hormones in your body could be all screwed cos some days you wear the patch and some days you don't. Best bet is to go and talk to your doctor. I prefer the Depo shot. so, if you don't actually LIKE the patch, maybe consitter getting a different method? Go to the doctors and get a preg. Test there.

Ask your doctor to have a blood test. I wasn't late in my period and the doctor confirmed with it that I was pregnant. I did it once unprotected when my first one was 9 month and I was bearing the second already!

Talk with your husband about your worries. He should take half of the worries from contraception! If you have problems with hormones and already had a kid maybe the IUD is for you!

It may be to soon for the pregnancy test to be accurate. You could in fact be pregnant. My girlfriend got pregnant on the pill, and she did take it everyday like she was supposed to. It was just that she was on it too long. I would wait a few more days and take the test again. Make sure it is first morning urine. First morning is important so the hormones that detect pregnancy have time to collect in the urine.

u could b pregnant. the first time i took the test it was negative but a week later still no period so i took another and it was positive. i think sometimes it takes a while for the pregnancy to implant which causes the hormones to take off which causes a positive pregnancy test

I believe that they are mostly accurate, but not 100% foolproof. I would take the test again. Your cycle could be out of whack from the uneven hormone situation caused by your patch being on and off.

-If you don't get your period in another week, take another test. You can be. Anytime you have sex. The only way to know for sure is a positive test from a doctor. In the meantime, stress keeps your period from coming, so try as much as you can to relax.

pregnancy tests can give false negatives. take a test again in a few days if you still don't have your period.
