How much gender plays a serious role in our everyday lives. Do YOU think about what bathroom you should go into everyday? Do you consciously think about how you should fill out the "gender" spot on applications? What gender you should date? What gender the world perceives you as? Probably not...but for someone like me (I'm a pre-op transsexual) It IS a big deal.

very few people realize when they are happy. they might look back and realize it after the fact, but most people don't realize it at the time.

that life is short and we should not be afraid to do what we want and we should not stand in the way of another. we should explore, we should do something dumb, just for the fun of it, we should be honest, we should be forgiving because life is hard enough. i am tired of being angry with and resentful towards the people that have not allowed me the things in my life i feel i should have had or experienced. i have resolved to go and seek these things for myself. so long as it does not stand in anybody else's way, of course! live and let live. and do it to the fullest. do you really want to look back and regret not doing or trying something?

That usually the behavior or action or characteristic that bugs us the most in some else - is part of who we are that we don't like. Thus we reject it in others.
