I think we do. I think our souls make deals with others' souls on the other side. I think we are responsible for everything that we experience in this life - both good and bad.

Personally - my parents would have never been together if it hadn't been for me. I received important gifts/lessons from both to create the person and consciousness that is me.

Another example are some murderers' and their victims. Sometimes the victim just seems to be a magnet for the murderer regardless of anything that the victim does or doesn't do. The attraction to each other just happens, and the circumstances for the crime just fall into place like a dance.

God, I wish we could, but I do believe everything happens for a reason, even if it doesn't seem fair. It's all parts of God's big plan for us. My dad was in prison when I was born and my mother is an alcoholic and drug addict, but who knows what kind of person I would be today if it weren't for having such horrible parents. I turned out well, never tried drugs and have two beautiful children and pretty decent husband and a stable career. I was determined to not be like my parents. Honey life seems un-fair sometimes, but one day it will all be clear on why we have horrible or wonderful parents and that goes for all other things in life. Good luck!

You have lots of good answers, but I think you will survive and be what you will be. We can always blame others for something bad, but that bad can make us stronger. Parents who are really good and do everything and give everything to their children don't always bring out the best in them. " I cried because I had no shoes and then I saw someone who had no feet." Be thankful for what you have and when you are grown and on you own, give all that you can to your children and parents. You will be stronger and feel better. It is far better to give than to receive. If there are unlawful things happening to you, go to the police. The future of our country and our only means of being immortal is through our children. Please be optimistic and try to get through it all. I think you could be great.

Because God choses your parents. He gives the Father the seed, who in turn plants the seed into the Mother. Then you grow inside your Mothers body until you are ready to be born. Are you unhappy with your parents? If so why?If they are to strict with you, it is only because they love you!

Because we don't exist until two people (our parents) copulate. At which time we begin to exist. Thus, for us to choose is impossible. Do you understand?

I dont know, but I wish there was a law, stating that if someone wants to have a baby, they need to go to parentling class first and get a license. We need licenses for everything else! My aunt does not take care of her babies and they are so adorable. Its sad.
