A code P0302 indicates a misfire on cylinder number 2. From here you need to check all the external mechanical for that end of the engine. With it running, can you hear a vacuum leak when you get close to the intake area?
If not, you can rule that out for the time being.
Move to the plug wire. Inspect it closely. Do you see anything that appears burned or chalky around any portion of the wire? Spark plug clean, is the ceramic porcelain cracked, is there sign of "tracking" on the upper white class? Is the electrode in its proper position and is the lower insulator cracked or damaged? Look closely at the inner electrode. Is it solid, or does it move up and down? At this point, if all is in good condition, you may have a defective coil pack, or a failing injector.
Without some rather expensive equipment, you are reduced to "throwing parts" at the engine in hopes of "hitting" the failure. Pretty expensive way to go. Now you will have to take it to the shop.
You are not doomed to the dealer, however. Most REPUTABLE shops can help you out, but may not bee a whole lot less. They may be more willing to help you with cost, as the dealer may want to do a "complete" repair rather than just repairing the present condition.

in my experience with that trouble code it has always been the ignition coil or the ignition control module...plugs and wires never fixed that code..

both in which a lot of times can be tested at your local autozone on most vehicles.call and verify
