No. In fact its a good idea, cos if you do get pregnant in the future you will know that your body is not deficient in folic acid etc, which you need for a healthy pregnancy.

Not if your doctor does extensive blood work on you and discovers things that indicate prenatals will help you temporarily.

I take them every few months for about two to three weeks. It helps me.

Oh...and the reason why some people feel yucky when they take it is maybe they don't need so much B vitamin intake. Makes them feel nauseated. That's why they make some prenatals that deal with nausea, I think. People who have allergies to certain dyes should see the doc, but other than that....

Ta!

No, it is not harmful to take prenatal viamins if you are not pregnant. Prenatal vitamins are just like an OTC multivitamin only they have more Folic Acid and Iron.

No. Those are the best vitamins I have found to take and I am not, nor do I plan to be pregnant anytime soon! I have found that they work wonderfully. They can make you lose your appetite, however (at least that's what happened with me).

I've known several girls who took prenatal vitamins and birth control pills at the same time, and they were all hotties.

No not harmful at all, best to be prepared anyway for when you do finally fall pregnant, if that's what you want of course.
