Creative people keep their focus in many different ways. Personally, I meditate. I also write things down. I have to have a schedule. Sometimes I lose my focus, but I look for it and usually find it.

I have to be organized to create.

I think it is very possible to be both organized and creative. In fact, many of our great playwrights, novelists and artists work in a very disciplined and organized way, usually setting a precise time of the day to start and stop writing or painting (Disciplined Creative type). Others prefer a more freestyle approach and work only when their muse inspires them, bouncing from one activity to another until the spirit moves them (Inspirational Creative type). Both types have their creative focus under control--it's just the inspirational types appear to the rest of us to be disorganized about themselves because of the more spontaneous way they work. However, I don't automatically equate chaotic life and work habits with creativity. Some people are just egocentric "free spirits" by personality and use "creativity" as an excuse for their lack of discipline and responsibility. We all know people like that, and they can drive us crazy!!

For me----it's the only way that I can function! I have to be organized 1st of all in order to be able to think! If there is clutter around me, I can't function, only because my brain is always cluttered. It's not the healthiest way to live but everyone tells me that I have a great apartment; my desk at work is always neat, I color coordinated everything, I'm not a pack rat because I give away constantly to the Good Will and Salvation Army, (out with the old and in with the new), I even sort my garbage. Yes it's sad, but true. I just feel that if you remove all of the clutter; negativity's; drama from around you personally, you can take that energy and use it for something positive which would in the long run benefit you the person.

Yes I'm on meds! LOL!

Be creative. you may save it actual also, in spite of the undeniable fact that it will be not something new. we've all heard songs about rappers coming from the hood, going to penal complicated, having deaths contained in the households, combating, and promoting/doing drugs. Like Bonnie stated, quite some the time their mendacity besides, so i might want to fairly have an artist be creative than pretend. Being creative can under no circumstances bypass out of style.

Yes , being organised within, a person can be very creative, the external appearance may be deceptive, but they know where exactly is what, and the mental picture is very organised, and planning is quite easy, simple and affords good creativity !

They keep their balance between creativity and organization, I guess. And they have high self-esteem. Everything is achievable under these circumstances!
