Hey, One fine day, my pc sounds were gone. Not speakers' fault. So I tried system restoring, restore failed on all check points. I system restored on safe mode. It worked. Now its back again as normal. Can u tell me wat was the problem? I scanned for viruses, using AVG ,not found, No spywares either. Why did my sounds stop working and again started on doing system restore???
serious answers please. Thank u in advance.

see, this is due to some power leakage in your speaker, what is happening ,that when u turn on your machine, sound card get some leak power from the audio out cable , which makes the sound card chip, unstable and in result the windows fails to load the drivers of sound card. check for the proper earthing of your computer and make sure there is not driver conflict. try removing your speakers before switching on the computer\. it will work fine as ever.

I am sure that it was just a sound driver that was corrupted. You probably could have just uninstalled the sound card in device manager. Downloaded new drivers and reinstalled with that. It started working again with system restore because it restored your system with the noncorrupted drivers.

hi, perhaps you can try Norton to remove the virus and protect your PC. but you need to pay for the software

i recommand you to use firefox with Google toolbar. firefox can disable all virus to run, because the virus can only run on IE.

besides, firefox can block any any poppus and disable any virus and adware, spyware on webpage, so, firefox is much safer than IE. as you know, most of the virus is spread throught internet and webpage.

firefox is much smaller than IE, so i run faster than IE.

download firefox for free:
