The Bush administration knows that Bush will make a fool of himself. The Iranian president may be many things, but he is highly intelligent and well spoken.

He didn't suggest that Bush meet him to discuss the nuclear issue. He challenged him to a debate on world issues. I don't have a great deal of love for Bush, but he is correct for refusing this. The Iranian president's major gripe is with Israel and the U.S. support of Israel. Honestly, would you try to argue with someone who denies that the holocaust took place? Despite what someone here said, I wouldn't equate holocaust denial with intelligence.

Well, let's see, Iran's President has said point blank that he wants to wipe Israel off of the face of the earth. It is a fact that Iran's President has funded and armed Hisbollah terrorists so he's lucky we haven't already done with him what we did in the Taliban in Afghanistan. Oh yeah by the way, if your mindset had prevailed back in the 1940's, we'd be speaking german right now.

Why does he want to talk with Bush? What the f is Bush suppose to do? The UN needs to deal with this. GW started one messed up fight, he can't be egged into battle with Iran. Not enough power or support for that now.

Because President Bush made it known on many occasions that he does not deal with TERRORISTS nor will he TOLERATE a country who SUPPORTS TERRORISM. Also, it is a known fact that the President of Iran was involved in the hostage situation in Tehran in which he was one of the rebels who stormed and captured hostages in the US Embassy. Stay on top of what's going on in the world by watching FOX NEWS channel or go on their website. There you will find the TRUTH.

"A group of astronomers had been observing extraordinary lights in the lunar crater Plato. The lights had definite arrangement. They were so individualized that Birt and Elger, and the other selenographers, who had combined to study them, had charted and numbered them. They were fixed in position, but rose and fell in intensity."

It might have something to do with the perception that Ahmadinejad appears to be a bona fide nutjob. Also, it confers upon the creepy little man and his renegade treaty breaking country a status they have yet to earn - members of the community of civilized nations that don't savagely oppress dissent and freedom.

Very well put Rebel Gal!!! One Voice-Highly intelligent? He could be, but I do not know that and I doubt that you do. Just an assumption on your part? Well spoken? That COULD be accurate. He certainly did not stutter when he said that Israel should be blown off the map and that there had been no holocaust.

The liberals marched in support of Jihadist and this caused the terrorists to get more financial support which enabled them to buy rockets and kill my brother in Iraq. They helped kill my brother.
