I just had the D & C procedure and for those of you who know it, know you cannot have sex for one to two weeks afterwards or until you see your doctor. So my husband and I have been experimenting with different ways of fulfilling sex. We have been having anal sex and one time I felt alittle cramp and I just want to know will the penis affect a sensitive cervix area at all? I am clueless as to how close everything is to each other.

No it wont affect the cervix. They are not even close. I also had a D & C and would periodoticly get small pains in my cervix. Because your doc just forced it open and preformed a medical procedure. It will pass. Hope this helps, and I am sorry for you loss.

First off, ask a doctor. Don't take any of our advice, even if we claim to be doctors. Secondly, anal sex does in fact put pressure on the cervix (and the whole pelvic region), very much in the same way a strained bowel movement would. That is the very reason it works as a sexual option for many people., men and women alike. This small cramp is most likely harmless, provided it didn't last for several hours after intercourse. Interesting note: oral sex does not strain the cervix directly.

No go ahead and do it up the anal. If it does not hurt, you will be just fine.

It should not be problem, but if it hurts or causes to much pain, then consult a docotor.
