Instead of shaving, try triming them real short. You might like the look and it could help solve your problem.

Well y b/f shaves his pubic hair and he doesn't get the razor bumps. Maybe it is the razor or the cream you are using. You might be getting irritated from that. Instead of the cream use just plain ole' soap and when you dry off use a moisturizing lotion in that area. See if that helps. Worse comes to worse just trim the hair really low. Don't shave it bald. Good luck!!

I use a beard trimmer to cut it short. Solves the problem for me, and my girlfreind really enjoyed it as well.

A decent trimmer is about 35.00. Just be careful not to let a fold of skin get caught in the trimming head.

Also, the small pen-style personal trimmers work well too, especially for the tight areas, and they are easier on the sensitive skin than a larger trimmer.

Experiment, but be careful!

Trim your pubic hair. With scizzors or with a trimmer/shaver. That way it'll be short enough not to cause a problem, but long enough that you won't get razor burns and whatnot.

before shaving, sprinkle baby powder over the areas that you will be shaving. it creates a smoother shave and few if any burns or bumps.
i've been totally shaving down there for 3 years due to the same problem you write about. powdering before shaving has made the job so much more easy and tolerable.
try it!

Proper shaving technique should work very well - most men shave this area with great success. However, if that doesn't work for you, try a beard/moustache trimmer and set it for very short. That way, you won't cut/break the skin and cause an irritation.

I got circumcized at 28 due to medical reasons reluctantly but one of the main benefits is I now do NOT have your problem -

No hair caught in foreskin
no smegma
no smell {I used to get a smell 1/2 an hour after washing}

Getting circed isn't as bad or sore for an adult as people make out - I know I've experienced being uncut & cut & I can tell you I now prefer CUT where as before I would've said uncut but that's before I experienced the benefits of being circumcized.

My only regret is not getting circed tighter as I have a loose circ but didn't realise as the time & wasn't that keen on getting circed originally but I am sooo glad I did

So my answer is get CIRCUMCIZED!!!!!!!!!

Keep it trimmed. Shaving can be dangerous, since the scrotum is very thin and sensitive, not to mention it has lots of little veins that will bleed for a long time if cut.

You were probably using a dull razor. At least you can use an electric clipper or a plain old pair of scissors, carefully, that is the key word. Once you get it short enough, trim it periodically and it will trouble you no more.
