The arrows on the console dont light up either, or click.

You probably need to replace the flasher. Your vehicle has a seperate one for turn signals and hazzards. The turn signal flasher may even be an electronic module.

What kind of truck are we talking about? What model, brand or year? Usually the turn signals are a seperate switch from the hazards, a little cylindrical contraption. That is what needs to be changed

Depends on the truck make and model. If its a chevy 88 up try replacing the printed circuit boards. (It is the plastic piece in taillight that holds the bulbs.) I sell a bunch of those.

Check for fuse then faulty wiring.. Learn your hand signals so you don't get a ticket while driving in the mean time

You have isolated the problem: It is in the switch on the steering wheel. Check all fuses before you go any further.

Check for a blown fuse.
