the jets are my team but ill be the first one to say they are not that great this year... they have no running game and have rookies at some key positions. Their D is strong though and pennington looks good... what do you think of this season for the jets?

Im both a Jets and Giants fans and I honestly didnt think the Jets were going to have a terrible year(lets not get carried away I dont think they'll make the playoffs) but the defense is still there which has bright spots with Vilma,the d-line, and Coleman. There poor season last year has to be blamed mostly on that poor offense that was taylored by Bollinger and Testaverde. People can talk bout Chad's arm strength but he's proven in the past that he can be a great qb(completed 70% a few years back and took the jets to the playoffs twice) that being said they're not ready yet because they have no running game whatsoever and the defense isnt great. That being said I think the Jets have a great chance to be 7-9 or even .500. That may not sound good to sum of u but rebuilding takes time.

If Pennington can play all year and get decent protection from his O-line, who knows? I thought 3 wins would be a good season for the Jets, but there is some reason for optimism with the win at Tenn. This week the Pats will not be like playing the Titans. I think the Jets could easily lose their next 5 games before a visit to Detroit on 10/22.

The Jets are a .500 team or lower. Pennington still is a big question mark and they dont' have a clear cut starting RB. They were lucky to beat a terrible Titans team. Not a good year for them.
