Yeah, so I went out to do this "Z-idol" spin-off of American Idol, but I apparently picked the really wrong song. I did really well (mistaken for a lipsinker, lol), but I did not win. :( So, I'm going back next week for the final round. I need ideas of good songs to do. I want something that people know so that I get lots of cheers and get people involved. I am looking for non-country, preferably, but am open to suggestions of all genres. I love country, don't get me wrong, but the crowd seemed to like the other stuff more. Anybody, EVERBODY, please give me your suggestions! Thank you!!!

Try some Pat Benatar--"Hit Me With Your Best Shot."
If you really like country, there are some more upbeat country songs to choose from. Try something like Gretchen Wilson's "Here For the Party" or Trick Pony's "Pour Me." My new favorite is Carrie Underwood's "Before He Cheats."

Try old country, like Coalminer's Daughter, or find a really cheesy one, like Drop-Kick Me, Jesus. Do you have anyone you could duet with on I'm a Little Bit Country?
