My son has the same thing going on with him right now. At his 4 month check up he had a bad rash on the side of his face so my doctor gave him a cream to put on the area. It seems to be working but all of a sudden he has been getting all of these little red and white bumps all over his neck and face. I do believe its just baby acne and from liquids getting caught on his neck when he eats and drools. Just keep the area clean with warm water and stay away from soap and lotions. So far it seems to be working for me but every baby is different. If it seems like it is spreading or becoming inflamed then go see your pedi. Its always best to ask them what is going on. Good luck!!!

Those tiny bumps are normal. They are a version of acne that some newborns get. You should not put anything on them. They will go away on their own eventually. Whatever you do do not pick at them. Your baby will be just fine.

The bumps are called milia or baby acne. They will go away usually within a few weeks and you don't need to worry about them. You don't need to put anything on them. Just keep baby's skin clean and dry.

Could be baby achene. Or your baby could be allergic to the baby wash. Mine was allergic to one and had to start using Aveno Baby wash. The doctor told me that the best thing was to wash the babys face with water only. And his spots went away. But do not put anything on it without consulting the pediatricians. They baby could get it in it's eyes.
Try the book What to expect the First year. It's a great reference to alot of questions that will come up.

My son had that too and I took him to the doctors. They said it was heat rash. I didn't think it was but I stopped putting so many clothes and blankets and it went away. Till this day he is still always hot even if I'm not. I guess he is just warm blooded as they say.

Leave the bumps alone. They are normal for young babies. My son had them and I washed his face with only water and didn't put any lotion on his face and they got better after a few days.

They are called milia, i believe, they are the babys pores opening up. They will disappear on their own in a few weeks. Dont pick at them or put anything on them., Just wash your baby's face normally.

Tiny white bumps are often referred to as "milk bumps" and are quite common....They usually go away on their own. There isn't anything that I know of to put on them to take them away. But, as always if you are concerned talk to your pediatrician.
