I was wondering. For about 2 or 3 days now, I've had excessive saliva. I've had to spit nonstop and I don't know what's up with it. I heard that it can be a symptom of pregnancy, but is that true? I've also had to use the bathroom like crazy lately and have been sick to my stomach. I'm only 3 or 4 days from when my period is due, so I don't know if pregnancy symptoms would kick in yet. Could anyone help me with this?

Yes. Excessive saliva build up is a side effect of pregnancy. Talk to your doctor about it and they might be able to tell you how to get rid of it or at least make it more managable. All of your symptoms can definitely show up right now.

I had exsessive saliva production when I was prego -- you should just wait the 2 or 3 days to see if you miss your period...and if you do, then schecule an appointment with your doctor.

Yep...I've known a couple of people who had that condition during pregnancy. They carried around a coffee cup with a lid on it so they could spit discretely if they needed to! LOL!
