Human refers to the body, the particular specie. This is not as important as the life force, the spirit soul, which gives life to the body. The body is temporary, the soul is eternal. So the soul is more important than the body. Find out who you are. Realize your Self, the person underneath the coverings of the body and mind. This is the purpose of this human life. Unless we do that, we are no better than the lower life forms, animals and plants.

Wha? We control the planet? How would anyone come to that conclusion? Do we control hurricanes? Tornado's? Tsunamis? Earth is not a passive entity, we're pissing her off and we'll be getting a kick in the a*se. There have been eleven ice ages, that we 'know' about. What better way to kill off a bunch of pests? Freeze em.

Okay, now who are we humans? Wha? If I interpret the question correctly we are what we make ourselves to be. We are what our species has evolved into. What 'we' are.. little harder to answer. We are our perceptions of what we are. We are what we intend to be. Intent is not a passive force. It is what makes everything into anything.
