I would like to upload to my High School site that lets you put up a current photo (the last one was 1970), but when I do upload the picture it takes up more than the entire screen --you have to scroll full across and down to zero in on my face, and then it's so big you can't see my whole face on the screen. Thanks!

search for "irfanview". They have a free downloadable photo editor that will let you quickly and easily resize a photo.

The old 'paint' program has a menu item, image, under that it says stretch a skew. You can resize using this option.

just you can use your windows office picture manager. select resize..
there will be some default settings like half the size or quarter..
you can also customize those settings to get the pic of your own requirement..
you can also crop images using it

There is a web site called shutterfly.com, I know I love them. You can edit your pictures on the Internet and they will send to you what you want.

If you have Photoshop or Paintshop you can resize it.
