I am applying to my local community college, and i am required to take a placement test. The only thing is I am very bad at math. The practice test had alot of fractions, and algebra. I am completly clueless. It is embarassing to admit that i do not now these simple math techiques but i can not pretend as though I do when it comes time to take the test i need in depth explanations of how to perform these techniques. Please anyone please tell me where i can read the explanations and do practice test for free? I will be eternally grateful.

Hey Melanie, you are not alone in your quest to be more efficient at math. I am a poet who loves reading, writing, and word games and such---but math gives me a headache (I even get dizzy trying to remember whether the numerator goes on the bottom or top when figuring fractions!). Ugh!! I hate math. I didn't get accepted in a class that I really wanted to take because of a low math score. Anyway, I will be watching to see what kind of info that you get on your question. Maybe it will help me too. Good Luck to you. Peace.
